Are You Ready for the Next Culture Crisis?

Being proactive is the key

Happy summer readers!

While I love sharing happy news, I have concerns about the future of the American workforce.  Being proactive is key, and I’d like you to have tools – lots of them.

Most companies will survive the AI revolution—but not the emotional exhaustion it leaves behind.

What I’m seeing across industries—from construction to tech to hospitality—isn’t just burnout. It’s disconnection:

  • Between leaders and their teams
  • Between mission and day-to-day work
  • Between values on the wall and behavior in the halls

You can’t solve that with software.  You can’t fix that with perks.

It takes intentional human work—conversation, clarity, vulnerability, trust.

If your people are quiet quitting, mistrusting leadership, or struggling to collaborate, you’re not alone. You’re at the edge of a culture crisis that’s already costing U.S. businesses billions.

Here’s the hard truth: many leaders see the culture cracks… but they freeze. They worry that naming the problem will make it worse, or they fear backlash, blame, or simply not knowing what to do next. But inaction is the real risk. The villain isn’t just disengagement—it’s stagnation. It’s the slow erosion of morale, creativity, and trust while everyone pretends it’s “not that bad.” Smart leaders don’t wait for a blow-up. They name the problem, invite the conversation, and take bold, human-centered action to turn the tide. Culture doesn’t heal in silence. It heals in strategy.
